Driving is a skill that can enhance the quality of your life. It can bring job prospects, independence, and give you the freedom to jump in your own car and go where the open road will take you.
Whatever your reasons are for learning to drive, Ed’s Driver Training will take you through the stages of learning to drive resulting in becoming a safe, efficient and confident driver.
Driving lessons can be a nervous experience for first time learners. Ed’s Driver Training will provide you with a safe, comfortable and enjoyable environment for learning, which will help alleviate those ‘first time nerves’.
MOBILITY DRIVERS WELCOME
The Motability Adaptation scheme helps learners with mobility/disability issues to drive using hand controls and modified foot controls.
Adaptations are designed to meet individual needs. For example, if you have a disability below the waist, adaptations can help by placing the foot controls in a position where you can operate them by hand. These are known as hand controls.
Other types of adaptations are:
Steering Aid (for difficuties with holding the wheel)
Remote control devices (To operate wipers, lights and indicators)
High-tech control (Vehicle control with a joystick or from a wheelchair)
Lower body controls (Left foot accelerations and pedal modification)
